Seeglück Hotel Forelle Superior

My room (#27) had been renovated and was spacious, thoughtfully designed, and had a large furnished balcony looking out over the lake. The bathroom and shower were amazing, and the restaurant food was just as good. Every staff member was genuinely nice and extremely helpful. It couldn't have been more perfect, and I can't wait to return. I only had two nights while passing through the area, but I already know I'll be back. The hotel sits right by the lake, is easy to reach and leave, and has plenty of parking.

Breakfast came with a lovely lake view and perfect service. The Hotel Forelle also has its own lake access and a very nice spa. It was just as good as my first visit: the hotel is clean, the setting is beautiful, and the food is delicious.

We were very happy at Seegluck and, if all goes well, we’ll definitely return. The rooms were spotless, the parking was easy, the staff were lovely, and the grassy beach had a great feel to it. Breakfast and the gourmet dinners were both excellent, and we’re grateful to the cleaning team for their hard work. One small concern: could smokers perhaps have a designated spot away from the room balconies? That would help keep cigarette smoke off the balconies and preserve the fresh Millstatter air that’s highlighted in your advertising. Thanks again, and all the best to you and your family!

You’re right by the lake, and our room had a great view, but the stay didn’t feel worth the price. For a four-star hotel, the service fell short. The staff came across as unprofessional and unfriendly. Breakfast also felt impersonal, like an all-inclusive buffet, and nobody brought coffee to the table.
