The food was varied, delicious and high quality. We particularly liked the focus on regional products and sustainable catering. The packed lunches were reasonably priced, practical for hikes and just right for our outings. The three of us, aged 30-40, spent a few days hiking in Kleinwalsertal and felt very comfortable at Hotel Alpensonne. It’s a great starting point for tours, with many places reachable on foot or after a short bus ride. The renovated room was a pleasant surprise, modern, clean and cozy while keeping its typical mountain charm. It was a great place to relax after long hiking days. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and sorted things out without any fuss. We had an enjoyable stay with lovely rooms, good food and excellent value for money. We’d gladly return for another hiking holiday.

The indoor pool and sauna were a real bonus, and the breakfast and dinner were okay. The hotel is family-run, with friendly, helpful staff. Our room was fine, and the hillside setting was very quiet, with good access to the ski bus.
