Gästehaus Etschmann

The kids had a great time sledding right beside the apartments, and the ski slopes were close and easy to reach. The setting was quiet and family-friendly, with excursions and winter sports nearby. Our group of four families spent a week in Mrs. Etschmann's vacation apartments, and we all felt at home straight away. Everything was spotless, and Mrs. Etschmann and her partner were warm, attentive, and full of helpful local suggestions. We also made good use of the common room for meals and time together. We had nothing to complain about, so the few negative reviews are hard for us to understand. We’d happily return, and thank you for a lovely stay.

The common room was a real plus. We used it for breakfast with our friends, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We felt very well looked after at the Etschmann guesthouse in Riezlern, and found the stay relaxed and well organized, especially with children. The hosts were polite, friendly, and accommodating. We felt that respectful behavior was met with respect in return. We also appreciated that alcohol wasn't left out where children could freely reach it. We can wholeheartedly recommend the guesthouse to families.

We slept really well and loved having fresh bread delivered. The place was very clean and well kept, and we felt at home during our week with Mrs. Etschmann. Our apartment looked just like the photos, with a little kitchenette, bathroom, and separate toilet, and it didn't feel too old. Our son slept in a Murphy bed that may have been a few years old, while the double bed seemed fairly new. In Apartment 1, the terrace didn't have a mountain view, though we could have sat out on the lawn for a better one. We don't understand some of the negative reviews, and we'd definitely return.

The apartments felt like they belonged to the Middle Ages, and the hostess celebrates things that will already be outdated by 2025. Anyone who treats paying guests this way and attacks them publicly clearly doesn't need the business.
