8/10
We enjoyed the mountain view from the terrace, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed for a few summer days. The hotel was nice, though small shortcomings cropped up in different areas: the rooms were decent but not top-notch, and the food was good without being outstanding. The layout felt confusing and not very accessible for people with mobility issues. Given the overall quality, we thought the price for the room and meals was a little high.

The restaurant really impressed me, with a high standard of cooking and service and lots of food and drink choices. Parking is available both underground and up on the hill. The hotel exceeded what I expected, with very friendly staff and an elevated location that’s still easy to reach, even for senior citizens. The vintage-style decor, big upper-floor windows and balcony let in a lovely cool breeze.

Excellent food and good service. A special thank you to Frau Bantel for taking extra care to help my daughter with her sunburn. Thanks as well to the restaurant staff, especially Torsten and Violetta.
