We loved wandering through town on the roughly 10-minute walk to the marina and getting to know Mondsee a little like locals. Our room was lovely, with a balcony overlooking a Koy pond where ducks were quacking. Heidi was easy to talk with and gave us a walking map and suggestions for local restaurants and things to see and do. The breakfast was huge, freshly made for us every day in the big kitchen on the main floor, and waking up to those smells was wonderful. I've stayed in Mondsee several times, and this is my favorite B&B. I'd recommend booking directly through their website too.

My sister and I found this really cozy little place while interrailing. The views of the lake and mountains are lovely, and the family staff are friendly. Definitely worth a visit. P.S. There are two sweet cats.

I've stayed here twice, and I'll definitely return. It's a very friendly, lovely guesthouse for a great price. The rooms are clean and modern. The shower is small, but the water pressure is excellent, and breakfast is tasty and plentiful.

The room was just right, with a small private terrace for a drink or an outdoor meal. We stayed two nights and couldn't have been happier: beautiful views, excellent service, and a very good breakfast. The hostel is about a 15-minute walk from the town center, and I highly recommend it.
