Pension Haus Martin - Schneeberger

We love returning to this hotel. Even in peak season there are plenty of rooms available, which makes booking feel reassuring from the start. Our rooms have always been clean, spacious and tastefully furnished. So far we’ve had a balcony every time, with a lovely view of the nearby lake. It’s a wonderful place to unwind. Parking is easy, with lots of spaces around the hotel, in the courtyard or on the street, and there’s also bicycle storage. Breakfast is a highlight, with a huge selection, lots of regional products and a lovely presentation. A great way to start the day. The service and management deserve special mention. They’re attentive, warm and welcoming, and always have helpful tips about the area. There’s a small token of appreciation on arrival and a kind gesture when you leave, which adds to the personal atmosphere. In the evening, you can take a bottle of wine and glasses from the fridge and relax at the end of the day. Such a nice idea. One small thing to bear in mind, the hotel is a bit higher up, so the walk to the lake and lido takes a little longer, though it’s a quick drive. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and will definitely be back!

It was our first time there, and Haus Martin really showed us what quality means. We had to move during our vacation because it was fully booked for the festival, so we only stayed one night, but the difference in service, amenities and quality was clear. We couldn’t have got that level for twice the price. Thanks, Karin Schneeberger. Highly recommended! The house is on a hill, but the view over Mörbisch and the lake is wonderful.

Breakfast is generous and excellent, and the vanilla cream with fresh strawberries is especially worth trying. The balcony also has a breathtaking view of Lake Neusiedl. Inside, the small, cozy rooms are well appointed, with a lovely bathroom and even a shoehorn. Try the homemade wines too. The value for money is unbeatable, and the hostess takes great care of her guests. You really feel welcome here. A place to feel good.

Breakfast has a wide variety, from boiled eggs and fresh seasonal fruit to homemade jams, cold cuts and cheeses. Mrs. Schneeberger is attentive to her guests and welcomes them with a refreshing spritzer. The rooms are very clean and well equipped, with air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, TV, balcony, comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom with a toilet. The one small drawback is that there’s no refrigerator in the rooms, though there are two shared ones in the breakfast room. We also appreciated the private parking and large dedicated garage with charging points for e-bikes. We’ve come away with a very positive impression of Haus Martin in Mörbisch and highly recommend it!
