The room was quite spacious, with comfortable, simple beds, though it was very basic and a bit dated. The bathroom was small, and the shower cubicle was so tiny I could barely step into it. Hot water took anywhere from 2 to 10 minutes, then it was fine. The floor creaked and it was somewhat noisy. There’s a small heated room for a pair of ski boots, and skis could be stored outside. On the plus side, it’s within walking distance of the valley station, with a shuttle bus also available. It’s a nice guesthouse with friendly staff who cooked delicious food, and there’s a cozy shared dining room.
