We’ve stayed at Ferienhaus Schmid three times for our family winter holiday. The hosts are kind, welcoming, and helpful, and their hospitality made us feel at home. We really appreciated the lovely gifts when we arrived and when we left. It’s also only a 15 minute drive from Serfaus.

The message Michael sent the day after we left really stayed with us. He asked how the trip home had gone and whether my wife was feeling better after getting a little nauseous on our last night. That kind of thoughtfulness says a lot. The house was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed, with toys and a great shared play area for our children, aged one and four. We were welcomed with schnapps and treats, and the kids got little gifts when we left. Getting to the slopes in Fiss was easy enough, and the drive was lovely. There’s also a good selection of bread, eggs, and other things to order. We all had a fantastic stay.

Fiss, where we went skiing, was an 18-minute drive away, so this made a really good base for us. The place was clean and tidy, and we had everything we needed. Michael gave us a very warm welcome, and there was a bottle of schnapps waiting for us to try. You can order fresh rolls and yogurt each day, and freshly cooked eggs too.

The apartment is modern, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed. It’s also in a quiet, somewhat secluded spot with a beautiful view. What made the stay especially memorable was how kind the hosts were: we got homemade schnapps on arrival, dinner from leftovers one evening, and a little present when we left. I’ve never stayed anywhere better, and I’ve never had hosts this friendly.

The owners were so friendly, and everything was clean. This is easily the best holiday apartment I’ve stayed in. I’d gladly return.
