The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are amazing. You're still in a rural setting, but only a stone's throw from Innsbruck town. The mountain views are fantastic, especially at sunrise, which is worth getting up early to see.

We were staying at a nearby pension with our dog and took her for a leashed walk around the corner. We noticed goats behind a fence and a sign saying the enclosure was private property, so we continued until the fencing ended, thinking we were no longer trespassing. A minute or two later, the guesthouse owner came running out, screaming in German. We apologized and tried to leave, but she kept ranting and threatening us even as we walked away and tried to calm things down. Anyone can have a bad day, but this went beyond decent behavior. If she treats her guests this way, I would definitely avoid the place.

The uphill walk from the tram station takes about 10 minutes, but the hotel's location is perfect for someone who loves hiking. The staff were lovely and attentive, the room was clean, and breakfast was just what I needed. Thanks to Andrea for being so kind. I'll definitely come back!

We were staying in a nearby cabin and took our leashed dog for a walk to explore the area. On the road uphill, we saw a field with a path leading into it. We hadn't seen any signs or other indication that it was private land, so we headed that way. We stayed away from the fenced goat field about 50 meters from the path because we had the dog. Two seconds later, a woman ran out of the hotel and started shouting at us aggressively. We apologized straight away, said we hadn't seen anything indicating we'd done something wrong, and told her we'd leave. She kept screaming and being unreasonable, even saying she had a dog too in a way that implied she might let it out to hurt us. I wouldn't recommend going here if this is how she treats people. In response to the owners: We mostly agree with you, as I said in my review, but you escalated things. Your shouting set off our dog, who started barking. You kept yelling instead of having a normal conversation, so your comment about having a dog sounded more like a threat than a friendly “I have a dog too.” Next time, if people react to your shouting, try to de-escalate instead of adding more tension.
