Apartment Camping Rossbach.1

We booked a tent pitch on the very day we needed it, and it worked out well. The campsite is beautiful, and we even spotted a squirrel. Michaela, the owner, was so kind and cheerful; I really appreciated her. It also didn’t feel damp like some other campsites, and the price stayed very low even in high season. I’d recommend it.

The staff were friendly, and the campsite itself is peaceful with lovely views. There’s also a nice walk into the nearby village.

We didn’t end up staying at Camping Rossbach. We had taken our 7.33m motorhome through some back streets to get there, but turned around just before the entrance when the slope made it look like we might ground the vehicle. It seems better suited to smaller campervans. I also noticed a 3.5T weight limit on the local road opposite the campground. We’d have gladly stayed and explored more if we could have made it work, but it wasn’t meant to be.

The location was perfect and the bathrooms were clean. The staff were very friendly, too. It was quite crowded, which is probably good for the owners, but not really our preference. The pitches are small and offer little privacy.
