The welcome was personal and friendly, and the apartment was spotless. It felt spacious and comfortable for four, with two bedrooms, each with a double bed, plus a living room and fully equipped kitchenette. The kitchen had a working oven, microwave, ceramic hob, fridge, and dishwasher, along with a kettle, coffee maker, and all the cooking utensils. They also supplied pezo, toilet paper, towels for the bathroom and kitchen, dish soap, and dishwasher tablets. The bathroom was clean and well heated, with a shower and double sink. The beds were made up when we arrived. Breakfast can be ordered online and delivered free from €8. The bread rolls and pastries were delicious and refined. There's heated indoor ski-boot storage, plus a small garden with a terrace and a shed for bikes and skis. Wi-Fi was good and free. Restaurants are nearby, about a five-minute drive or 15-minute walk, and there's takeaway pizza. It's a 20-minute drive to the Stubai Glacier and Schlieck 2000.

The owners are warm and friendly, which really completes the impression of this first-class vacation apartment. Plenty of expensive hotels could learn from it. The separate bedroom has comfortable beds that left us rested for the next day. Fresh rolls can be delivered to the apartment door each morning if requested. In winter, the parking spot under the carport is a real bonus since you don't have to scrape ice off the windshield. Inside, there's a very spacious living room and a small but well-equipped kitchen. The cutlery, dishes, pots, and pans leave nothing to be desired, and there's a dishwasher and a proper stove with an oven. The large flat-screen TV has plenty of channels for the evening. There's also a separate bathroom and toilet, plus a private ski-boot room. In short, go see for yourself!
