The ski bus stop is just a 2-3 minute walk away, but it can get so crowded that it sometimes doesn’t stop during the morning rush. There aren’t any shops nearby, so we drove all the way to Billa in Neustift, and the only restaurant is in the hotel behind. The place itself is nice and comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen, though I’d have preferred firmer mattresses.

We travelled from Innsbruck by train and got a voucher for free travel to Innsbruck Central Station. The ski bus leaves from the neighboring hotel at set times, and it takes about 15 minutes to reach the glacier. The stop is roughly a five-minute walk away. We stayed in Chalet Chiara, a lovely, clean apartment with everything we wanted. The sauna is directly accessible inside the building, and they even provided a range of fragrances for the infusion. There’s also a washer and dryer, and the hosts were always easy to reach. We’d love to return. Highly recommended for a trip to the Stubai Valley.
