The setting around Gletscher Chalet is lovely, with great scenery and a really nice atmosphere. We also made good use of the sauna and the comfortable outdoor areas. The accommodation itself is first-class, and the family team looking after everyone is so welcoming that you feel like part of the family. They never make you feel that anything is too much trouble. For a skiing holiday in the Stubai/ Mutterberg region, this was the best experience. I highly recommend Gletscher Chalet for a trip here. It felt like a true 5-star stay.

So many hiking paths lead to lovely waterfalls, and the mountain views are great. The people were very kind too. A well-earned 5 stars.

We stayed for 7 nights and I still felt that wasn't long enough. The view is amazing, with blue sky, green surroundings, high mountains, and water flowing nearby. It's such a peaceful spot, and the chalet's style makes it easy to fall in love with the place. The owner was very helpful, and Lea answered our questions at any time of day or night. Stubai cards are available too, with nice privileges. Top of Tirol at 3200 m is free to access, and the Brenner outlet is reachable as well. There are lots of hiking trails and several waterfalls close by, plus SPAR & Billa supermarkets and fuel stations in the area. If you're after a quiet place in beautiful surroundings, this is it. I strongly recommend it and will definitely come back.
