The sauna area is brand new and has about five different types of sauna, which were great. The rest of the facilities are pretty average, but the owner's and staff's care for guests more than makes up for that. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed, just not luxury. It’s very close to a bus stop, and we had a great stay. What really stood out was Nico's kindness. After my friend and I talked with him at breakfast about our plans, we got stuck in the mountains until well after dark. The hike ended up five miles longer than the map said, and we’d got in over our heads. Nico texted to check we were on the right trail back to the hotel and weren’t adding extra distance. As two young women out there in the dark, it was comforting to know someone was looking out for us. We hadn’t eaten all day and had missed dinner, so when we got back he offered us leftover soup. That brought us back to life! You can hear the river roaring from your room, and see it from the balcony. So relaxing. Thank you, Nico!

After nine days on the Stubai High Trail, we came down into the valley and found this hotel a great place to rest, take a hot shower, and get online. Nico was a wonderful host and shared lots of helpful tips. It’s a good midpoint stop if you’re doing the whole trail.

The rooms and spa area are nice, and so are the owners. It’s a great ski location, close to a bus that gets you to the station in ten minutes. We’ll come again!

It’s an older hotel, but they do a good job of keeping it maintained. This family run place is relaxed and super friendly, and it’s one of the closest hotels to the glacier. Evenings at the bar are very social, with excellent food. Call to book directly, since you’ll get a better deal than on the booking sites.
