Hotel Christoph

I liked this family run hotel so much that I’m already looking at coming back next year. I travelled alone in January with Crystal ski after my wife injured her knee and had to stay home. The skibus stop is right outside, with regular free buses to the glacier and towns along the route, including innsbruck. The owners were always helpful with information and advice. My second floor room had fantastic views, a comfortable bed, and was lovely, warm, and quiet. The bathroom had a powerful shower with plenty of hot water, and the cleaning was very good. Breakfast was great, with breads, cereals, hot items, scrambled eggs, and bacon bits. The coffee was excellent and really set me up for the day. There’s a ski storage room and a self service bar with wine, beer, water, and soft drinks. You fill in a form and the items are charged to your room, which works well. You can also bring takeaway food back to eat in the dining rooms. The local town is a ten minute walk or a free bus ride away, and you can track the bus on a free app. There are plenty of restaurants, two supermarkets, a bar, an ice hockey rink, and ski shops.

The owners’ hospitality and service really stood out, and I’d be very happy to come back next time I’m here. It’s a lovely hotel and a great welcome to Stubai valley. The location is good, with two small towns 10-15 minutes away on foot and a bus stop just outside. I enjoyed having a balcony where I could watch the view and have a beer after a long day walking. Breakfast was great too.

Branko. The food was amazing, with the owner making it, and every meal was a treat. The rooms were very clean, and the staff were kind, polite, and very helpful to everyone. The store is close by and it’s super close to the mountain, so the location is perfect if you’re going to Stubai gletcher. My recommendation is 10/10.

The bus stop right outside made getting to Stubai Glacier's slopes easy, and the two nearby villages are about a 10-minute walk in either direction. We were there for a course that had booked the whole hotel, and I’d happily stay again. The room was really comfortable, with a huge soft mattress and a lovely thick duvet. Christoph cooked delicious food himself, and the bar had a good selection of local beers.
