Hotel Augarten

The room was too warm for us in August, though we were coming from winter elsewhere. Even so, we’d definitely stay again. Helga and her family and staff were wonderful, the food was sensational, and the location is great. Hospitality at its finest.

Right in the center of a charming town, with a shop a minute away and the skibus stop only a few meters from the hotel. The staff were always smiling and ready to help. We had the HB board, and the meals deserve a 5+. The sauna area is well worth recommending too. We had a really great time.

We’ve now stayed at Augarten twice, and hopefully this wasn’t our last visit. It’s a great base for skiing, with the bus stop, shops, and pubs nearby, but nights are still quiet. The clean, comfortable rooms have balconies and breathtaking views. The hotel restaurant serves typical Tyrolean food, and the owners and staff work hard to make your stay memorable.

We had a wonderful Christmas and New Year’s break, and the whole team made us feel at home. This is a fantastic family hotel with warm hospitality, outstanding service, top-class meals, and a very clean interior. The stylish decorations and attention to detail added a lot to the festive feel. The location made getting around easy, with the village center within walking distance and buses stopping just a few steps away. Elfer, one of the ski lifts, is nearby and visible from the hotel; the others are a short ride by car or bus. We had our best skiing at Stubaeir Gletscher, about 15min by car, with runs for all levels and abilities, and a very picturesque setting that stayed sunny until early afternoon. We’re thinking about a summer holiday here and have to come back for another festive season later this year!
