The owner was lovely. We were welcomed with a drink, and on our last night they even offered homemade pinacoladas. Our room and the fireplace were cleaned every day. This private chateu on the mountain, at 1100 ms, is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. The kitchen has a fireplace that works for both classic cooking and heating. It suits couples or a family with two kids. For skiing, I'd recommend driving to Saalbach, about 40 minutes away. Restaurants and shops are 3 km down in the valley, so it's best to bring your own food and drinks. If the road is covered in snow and ice, you'll need snow chains or an AWD car.

The owner is so welcoming and nice, speaks English, and spoiled us with daily surprises like farm eggs, snacks, and drinks. We've traveled a lot, and this was the most generous, pleasant hospitality we've experienced so far. The apartment is cozy, all wood, with a breathtaking view and a kitchen equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed it so much the first time that we came back for a second visit. Highly recommended!

We felt at home from the moment we arrived, and the short break was pure relaxation. The cabin sits high on the mountain with a breathtaking panorama, and you can head out for hikes or excursions right from there. It's thoughtfully furnished and has everything you need. Huge thanks to Elisabeth!
