Frühstückspension Jagdhof

The Scherer family welcomed me so warmly after my first day skiing, and I felt at home right away. I stayed on my own in a double room from December 20 to December 28, 2024, and was completely happy with the visit. The room was clean, modern, and had been renovated fairly recently. All the rooms have balconies, which are smoking friendly. The varied breakfast was regional and just right for me. I usually made my own bed and tidied up, as I was taught to do, but the room was still serviced daily. There’s a heated ski room in the house with boot warmers, and the nearest lift is only 200-300 meters away. Many thanks to the dear Scherer family, especially Sieglinde. I’d love to come back.

We stayed in the small apartment without breakfast and didn’t feel we were missing anything. The terrace always has a sunny spot, and the slopes are right there. It’s a lovingly run little bed and breakfast with two apartments. We’d be happy to return. Thank you so much 😍

The apartment was very clean, well equipped, and had parking right outside. The lady who runs the place is very kind. She doesn’t speak much Italian, but we managed to understand each other just fine. There’s also an excellent tourist office in town, with staff who speak Italian, which makes things very convenient for visitors.

We had a fantastic family break at Jagdhof Obertilliach in late January and early February 2023. Sieglinde is the heart of the place, making us feel almost like family every day. Our rooms, 1 and 2, were comfortable and had balconies with wonderful views towards the Italian border on the Porze. The beds were great, the bathroom was good, and everything was cleaned daily, almost like a hotel. Breakfast each morning was lovely, with fresh eggs, cheese, sausage, muesli, and coffee. The Jagdhof is right by the ski slope: the first lift is just a few meters away, and in the afternoon you can ski almost all the way to the hotel’s own ski cellar. We felt so comfortable here and would return again and again on future visits to Obertilliach.
