Mark and Jane made us feel at home, and their warmth and joyful energy were amazing. Everything about the place was perfect, from the room and breakfast room to the location. It felt magical, and I proposed to my girlfriend there. Thank you, Mark and Jane. I would choose this place every day of my life.

The conversations, helpful advice, and little facts Mark and Jane shared made us even happier with our stay. They had everything arranged so thoughtfully, and were such fantastic people to spend time with. We’re heading home to Poland with lovely memories that will stay with us for a long time. Those quiet mornings in the yard with a hot cup of tea, looking up at the mountain peaks, were my favorite part. They seemed so close, and the whole moment felt incredibly refreshing. Make time for it if you stay here. Jane and Mark make the place feel like home. They’re kind, attentive hosts who really care about guests being comfortable both at the accommodation and around the area. The cozy rooms look lovely in photos, but their hospitality is something you have to experience. The rooms are clean and charming, with a breathtaking view. From the dining room you can see across the lake to Hallstatt, just a short drive away, and breakfast comes with plenty of variety. As a vegetarian, I always had delicious choices, and Jane’s homemade muffins were a lovely extra. The mountains surround you, and the location is just right for exploring. I was completely happy with my stay and would choose this place again if I return. Jane, Mark, thanks for everything.

The view is stunning, and the rooms are warm, cozy, and lovely. What really made the stay, though, was how kind Mark and Jane were. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and were great to talk with, warm, family-oriented people who clearly want to share the life they’ve built overseas. There were six guests staying, yet the breakfast spread could have competed with ones at some hotel chains I’ve visited. They even arranged champagne and flowers for my friend’s birthday and had a gorgeous little breakfast set up for her. You really don’t want for anything here. We had a wonderful time, thanks to the location and especially their kindness. xxx
