Perberschlager

The owners were absolutely lovely, and the morning delivery of fresh bread was priceless. We spent nine nights here with our two kids and dog, and made use of the Sommer Card every day. The surrounding nature is beautiful, and the garden and trampoline were a hit with the children. Parking right outside was easy. The apartment was spacious, beautiful, and full of new, quality furnishings, with two terraces, plenty of storage, and a big freestanding bathtub. We stayed in no. 9 in summer, and it had everything we needed, apart from perhaps a colander, which we managed without. The attic stayed pleasantly cool even without air conditioning; we darkened the rooms before heading out and came back to a comfortable space. Traffic was loud on the first night, and it seemed drivers weren’t keeping to the speed limit. We got used to the noise and slept better the next night. Maybe a speed camera in town could help. The main bedroom mattresses are a little worn, though the kids had no complaints about theirs. Thank you very much!

The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and the apartments are lovely and new. The ski lift is two minutes down the road by car, or one bus stop away. The stop is right in front of the apartment. We’d love to stay here again if we’re back in the area.

We loved staying here again. The people are very friendly, and it’s a great spot for skiing and walking the dogs. The mattress could do with replacing in the next few years, but that’s about the only thing I’d change. Thanks for the reply. Next year we’ll let you know what firmness we prefer. The rooms were subpar, with old carpet, bad Wi-Fi, very old metal keys, poor English, no security, and a musty smell in the hallways. This really isn't a three-star place. Management will lie and charge extra, and we’ll never return. They charged us for two days we didn't stay, after telling us the opposite. We gave several days' notice that our flights had changed, and they also added €20 per night. Greedy. Go next door to the Waldorf Aktivhotel for much better service and rooms for your money. Steer clear. You've been warned.
