The view is stunning, and we’d happily stay here again if we return to Innsbruck. The family who runs the hotel made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout, and they were thoughtful and kind. Our room was cleaned very well each day. We also enjoyed both dinner and breakfast, with good food and warm service.

The setting is pleasant, though getting there means using a toll road. We were also disappointed by the response when we asked about long-term parking: rather than pointing us to the nearby garage in Matrei, they suggested going all the way to Innsbruck airport, which wasn’t useful for us as we were cycling toward Bolzano. Given the high price, we expected the room to be refurbished like the one in the photos.

Breakfast was really nice and the hotel is in a lovely spot. The bed wasn’t very good, though, and we could hear the neighbours through the thin walls.

The staff were friendly and happy to speak English, and we liked the location and accommodation. We skipped breakfast and dinner at the hotel and went to a nearby café for chicken schnitzel instead. It was well worth it. I’d recommend the area.

The room had a fantastic view, and the staff were very friendly and service minded. It’s a nice hotel in a small village near Brennero. The bathroom felt a little old, and breakfast was quite expensive.
