We had a great Christmas holiday here. The team were amazing, especially considering how busy they were during the holiday season. They did their best, and we were impressed by their enthusiasm and professionalism. The food and service were top notch, and the whole kitchen team deserves credit. Special thanks to Norbet, if I’ve got the spelling right, and his colleagues for being so attentive and caring. We’d like to return in the future.

The Hotel Post am See deserves 10 stars if I could give them. The staff were next level: everyone we spoke with was friendly, helpful, and did everything they could to make our stay better. The location, rooms, food, and inclusions were all amazing. I’ll be back!

The food really stands out here. Dinner is exceptional, and the afternoon tea is substantial, with salads, hot dishes, and desserts that easily make up for not having lunch. Breakfast starts at 8am, but there’s almost anything you could want. The hotel itself is a pleasure too: the rooms are spacious and well kept, and the pools and wellness area are excellent. Its location is fantastic. They’ve also become more accustomed to English-speaking guests over the years, so you should be able to make yourself understood without German. If you’re coming to Pertisau, it’s well worth considering.

We’d only just had lunch when the kids wanted to stop for food again. They got pizza, and I ordered a piña colada. I wasn’t keen on eating more so soon, but the pizza was surprisingly delicious when I tried it, and my drink hit the spot too.

The food was very good, and the staff took great care of us despite speaking very little English. Some parts of the hotel feel quite modern, and the pool and spa facilities are great. Still, there’s no tea-making setup, iron, or toilet amenities. Those small things matter at this price, and fixing them could have made this a five-star stay.
