Sonnenhof Genusshotel Appartements

We had a spacious room and a fantastic balcony view, and everything felt thoughtfully cared for. The owners made us feel very welcome, and dinner was delicious. It was a lovely place to stay with our five-month-old. Thanks for such a great visit!

The food was so good that we still remember the dishes months later, and our lactose-free, gluten-free, and low-histamine needs were handled without a problem after we asked. We also enjoyed the wellness area, though our condition meant we couldn't try everything on offer. We came in October and needed an accessible hotel and area. The room was accessible, the hotel was fully accessible, and the staff lent us the equipment we needed, including handles, a non-slip mat, and a raised toilet seat. Nothing seemed to be a problem. Around the area we found many accessible or partly accessible outings, and it was clear people were used to welcoming disabled visitors and knew how to help. Everything went smoothly. The Huber family and all the employees did their best to make us comfortable and happy. We only had to ask. We highly recommend the area and the hotel. The long trip was definitely worth it for us. The food was really delicious, and the staff were kind, helpful, and always smiling. Our room was spacious and very well equipped. We loved staying at this hotel and are already looking forward to coming back. We wholeheartedly recommend it.

We spent a week here, with one night at Sonnenhof and the rest in its separate apartment house. Both places have been recently renovated and are very well equipped, with quality kitchen and bathroom items. The interiors feel modern while keeping a traditional touch, and big windows with sliding doors open onto wonderful mountain views. The food at the Essbar was excellent. In Pertisau, right by beautiful lake Achensee, these are indulgent places to stay. Highly recommended for a hiking holiday or time by the lake.
