The courtyard was a lovely place to unwind, with lots of comfortable spots to sit. The apartments were spotless and clearly well cared for, and the host family were warm and helpful. There are local products in the wine cellar that guests can take on an honor system. This is exactly the kind of holiday I like!

We felt at home with the Roiss family, who were so welcoming. They were always happy to share tips for outings, restaurants, and wine taverns, and we’re grateful for that. The apartment did need some updating, particularly the kitchen, which wasn’t as clean as it should have been. That was disappointing.

The hosts were lovely and had useful advice about where to eat nearby and which places to skip. The beach is about a 10-12 minute walk away. Our room was practical and had what we needed, and everything was very clean.

There’s a nice breakfast spot beneath the fruit trees, plus a trampoline and toys for children. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which more than made up for the one small drawback: air conditioning would be useful in midsummer. At this price, though, it isn’t something you’d expect. It’s a good-value, family-run place.

We’ve stayed here many times and expect we’ll be back again. The apartments are pleasant and quiet, and they have air conditioning. The owners are genuinely welcoming.
