Our place was clean and welcoming, with all the comforts we needed. The owner was attentive and helpful, and she speaks Italian too. She really went out of her way to accommodate us. The apartment is on the main road, which made it a handy base for reaching different parts of Austria via the highway. It’s also in the tourist area near Lake Worthersee, a popular spot for swimming.

We spent 10 days here in September 2022 and really enjoyed the stay. The holiday apartment is modern, comfortable and centrally located, while still being quiet. The very friendly landlady was helpful and offered the Wörthersee Card, with its many discounts, as well as the Carinthia Card. We’d happily recommend the Pickert holiday apartment.

Mrs. Pickert was extremely kind and helpful. The apartment had all the things we needed in the kitchen, from a vegetable peeler to a cooking pot, and there was even a portable air conditioner. I’d definitely stay here again if I return to Lake Wörthersee.

That homemade jam is delicious, and the apartment is, as always, perfectly equipped. The lake is only about a 10-minute walk away.
