Villa Hygiea

We loved staying at the Villa and would happily recommend it, especially to families with children. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the whole experience was excellent. Our apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with thick walls that helped keep it pleasant in the heat. Everything felt brand new. For a week-long or longer stay with kids, the dishwasher, washing machine, and fridge are especially handy. Each apartment also has a coffee machine, plus several Nespresso capsules and a carton of milk as a welcome gift. There were dishes, cups, forks, spoons, pans, and everything else we needed to feel at home. The LED TVs offered high-quality channels and internet access, which was especially appreciated by foreign guests who want to watch programs in their own language. The garden barbecue area had all the necessary equipment, even matches. The private swimming and sunbathing spot is only 100 metres from the Villa, with sunbeds, umbrellas, and even fishing rods. We had our best vacation here and are truly grateful for such a comfortable stay.

We had wonderfully relaxing days here and would love to return. The property has a beautiful garden and our balcony looked out over the lake. The apartment was nicely furnished with everything we needed. The private lake access, its own jetty, and a pedal boat guests can borrow for free were the icing on the cake.

We spent five days here at the end of October and enjoyed every minute. The modern apartment is in an old villa, with several places to sit in the charming garden, a lovely setting for relaxing. It was very well equipped, including a large bathroom with a rain shower, dishwasher, washing machine, hairdryer, and Nespresso machine. There are plenty of good hiking destinations nearby, and Klagenfurt and Villach are worth visiting for their lovely markets. The hostess was so friendly and did her best to meet all our needs. The villa felt almost like a dream, with the lake right in front of me. Autumn made it especially easy to slow down and enjoy the peace. What a setting. If you're looking for somewhere with a really special atmosphere and location, I can only recommend it. Thanks for having me, I'll definitely return.
