Gästehaus Conny

On our way home from Greece, we stopped here for the night and got a warm welcome. We could park our motorcycles safely, then enjoyed a good breakfast and a nice chat with Conny. We set off again the next day. The stop was well worth it.

The Gasthof Islitzer across the road is well worth a visit, with good food at fair prices. And the Virgental is beautiful, with plenty to explore even when it rains. We went to Nationalparkwelten in Mittersill, which was really well done and very informative. The location is wonderful, the hosts are so warm, and the rooms are clean and cozy. We were a couple staying for a long weekend and enjoyed every minute. There are all kinds of walks nearby, short and long, challenging ones and easier routes for less experienced hikers. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks for the lovely days, Conny and Albert!

Such a lovely guesthouse, with cozy rooms and a great place to rest and unwind. The hosts were incredibly friendly, looked after us so well, and always had useful tips. Highly recommended.

The house could use some work on the outside, and the rooms are only okay, so don’t expect five stars. Still, the hosts are very friendly and breakfast was fine. For a hiking holiday, you couldn’t ask for a better spot to start from. We had six wonderful days.
