The private sauna was fantastic, and having two bathrooms for the two double rooms was great. Everything looked new and well cared for. We enjoyed our weekend here, felt very comfortable, and would happily recommend the accommodation.

There are a lot of missing basics here, and after dozens of trips to Austria, this was by far our most disappointing apartment. If you’re self-catering and plan to use the sauna, I’d avoid it. For four days with a sauna, the single medium-sized drying towel provided was nowhere near enough, and there were no sauna towels. The sauna itself is incredibly cramped. The terrace faces the street and is completely open, which felt unpleasant. There’s no patio furniture apart from a bench, so sitting outside wasn’t really an option anyway. The kitchen was especially frustrating. There was just one dish towel, with no hook to hang it on, and no cleaning supplies: no sponge, brush, or cloth. You’re expected to put everything in the dishwasher, even pans, so when it can’t clean something, there’s no proper way to wash it. You can’t even wipe the table. There’s no drainer by the sink or light for cooking, and no vacuum to pick up crumbs. The two pans are small, and the larger one warps into a bowl when heated. The kitchen has a Nespresso machine instead of a regular coffee maker, so you need to know ahead of time to buy the expensive capsules, which you might not use up. If you don’t know and the next day is a public holiday, you’re stuck. The kettle box was still there, but we couldn’t find the kettle. The bathroom and toilet are separate, but neither has towel rails or hooks. The toilet brush looked shaved down, with all its bristles gone. There wasn’t a bath or shower mat either. The apartment just doesn’t seem to have been thought through. Most of these missing things are relatively inexpensive, which makes it hard to understand.
