Haus Feuchtl was a lovely place for our four-night January 2019 stay as a couple. Everything we needed was there, and the apartment felt clean, cozy, and comfortable. My sister and her husband stayed in one of the newly renovated apartments and thought it was superb. Brigitte, the owner, made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend the place, and I'll be back in summer.

The garden is a lovely spot to unwind, and the house feels like a little oasis. It's lovingly furnished, clean, and well cared for. The hosts are warm, exceptionally friendly, and always ready to help, so you feel at home right away. Highly recommended!

I was turned away after walking 35 km and asking for a room, since none were available. I understand that, but when I explained that everything in Purkersdorf was booked and asked where I might sleep, the owner wouldn't listen and nervously told me to walk another 1.5 hours late in the evening, in freezing, windy weather. This place is on the Camino de Santiago, yet I found no understanding of pilgrimage, no humanity, and no willingness to help. Do not stop here!

Haus Feuchtl is quiet, colorful, and filled with fascinating books, impressive sculptures, and paintings. My room had all the essentials and furniture I needed to feel comfortable during my two-month stay. It was always adequately heated, and the internet and TV worked perfectly. The house is a short walk from public transport and within easy reach of the town center. Purkersdorf is a beautiful place near Vienna, with plenty of nature and friendly people. The hostess is very helpful and eager to meet her guests' wishes. I can wholeheartedly recommend it. If you find a room there, take it!
