The rooms are clean and nicely furnished, and a terrace with tables and chairs runs around much of the house. Upstairs, the guest apartment has three rooms, seven beds, and a big kitchen, though there’s just one bathroom and a toilet downstairs. It’s a lovely place, a little out of the way but still close to central Radstadt.

The hosts are really friendly and keep the apartment and its surroundings in good shape. They clear the snow regularly, and the Wi-Fi is very good. The apartment itself is clean, roomy, quiet, and has a balcony. It comes with towels, tea towels, a broom, sponge, dishwasher, oven, electric hob, and a large fridge, though there’s no freezer or washing machine. There’s enough hot water for a shower. If you book for four, the extra bedroom costs extra. The kitchen sink is so small that washing a big dish or tea towel is awkward, and we missed larger salad bowls, teaspoons, coffee cups, and a hand blender. For skiing, boot-drying electric poles and a table for sharpening skis would have been useful.

Supermarkets and a gas station are close by, and it’s a great base for day trips. Maria gave us a lovely welcome. The apartment was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed.

The apartment is on the first floor of a single-family house, with the very friendly and helpful hosts living downstairs. It was clean, well cared for, and fully equipped. Definitely a place I’d recommend.
