The location is excellent, right in the town center and just 50 meters from the main square. The bus stop, including the ski bus, is a three-minute walk away. There’s also a very spacious ski room with boot warmers and separate drying rooms for clothes. Great value for money, and we’d happily return. We found it a good fit for a larger group. The facilities are simple and clean, and the management and staff were very friendly. Everything had been arranged and the service was good. Breakfast was a moderately varied buffet with something for everyone. Dinner each night was soup, a main course and salad, served in bowls at the table, with refills whenever we wanted. Vegetarians and vegans had adapted or separate dishes to choose from.

Sabine and Werner were friendly, well-organized hosts. We were a large group of friends, and they handled the arrangements well, answering and accommodating all our questions and requests promptly. The house is a large, older guesthouse in central Radstadt, and the value for money is excellent. Our exclusive use of a common room meant we could stay there as long as we liked in the evenings, and we were allowed to bring our own drinks. The bar also serves drinks until 11:00 PM at very reasonable prices. There’s plenty to do inside, including a disco room, ping-pong, foosball and billiards. The ski bus stop is by the post office, a three-minute walk away; the house has a large ski room and a new boot dryer. The rooms are older but well maintained. Most are multi-bed rooms with bunk beds, a sink, shower and lots of storage. Their toilets are in the hallway; some double rooms have their own toilets. Vegetarian and vegan dishes could be ordered ahead. Meals came with good soup and salad, and second helpings were available. Breakfast was decent, with fruit and vegetables. We wholeheartedly recommend the place. At a group house this size and price, guests should expect to do a few things themselves, like strip beds, get their own drinks and refill food.
