Those mountain views across the Valley, Kulmberg and Planai were hard to look away from. We had plenty planned, though, so I couldn’t spend all day watching them! The hosts made us feel so welcome, with a warmth that felt completely natural, and they helped us plan our days. Breakfast was delicious each morning: fresh eggs, homemade bread and spreads, plus cold cuts. We also bought a lunch bag, which was simple but good value. The E-MTBs we hired were in great condition and handled both the nearby bike park’s extreme trails and the twisting mountain roads at high speeds. Many thanks, and I hope we get to see you again soon!

I came for skiing nearby, and the 4 mountains ski area was recommended. The setting looks like a postcard, with lovely views from the balconies and clean, spacious rooms. There’s a well-kept ski room and sauna, too. Stephanie, the manager, was very kind and helpful with restaurant and skiing tips. The hospitality was impeccable, and the breakfast was exceptional. A real gem!

You can set off on lots of mountain hikes from this quiet spot, which also has a superb view. Breakfast was very good and parking was free. We really appreciated how professional and kind our hosts, Rafael and Stephanie, were.

We stayed two nights and had such a lovely time. The staff were absolutely friendly. If you're looking for somewhere in Ramsau am Dachstain, I'd stop searching and choose this pension.
