The setting was a great base for exploring the area, and being right by the bus stop made getting around very convenient. We were part of a larger group with lots of children, and all enjoyed the location, the games facilities, and the lovely natural swimming. The hosts seemed a little concerned that our group might damage things, perhaps because we were so many, but otherwise it was a lovely stay.

Blaubeerhügel was a lovely, spacious house with a lot of atmosphere and no close neighbors, and it was good value too. I stayed there with friends in summer, using it as a base for hiking and mountain biking in an area that’s great for both. The staff were super friendly as well. I accidentally left my sunglasses behind, and Alexander sent them out the very next business day. Amazing service!

The place feels genuinely authentic, with a cozy hotel, fantastic food, and very friendly, helpful family owners. After a full day of skiing or hiking, the saunas are a great bonus. We’re coming back in summer to see the pond after a day of via ferratas. The balcony view is lovely too.

The food is excellent and the service is great, and the location works perfectly with the ski bus stop just around the corner. The wifi, though, was really poor, which made working or streaming quite difficult. On the top floor you can hear neighbors just walking around because the floor is so creaky. It’s also very thin, and the child on the fourth floor was a nightmare.

The view is even better than the rooms, and both are great. I’ve been coming here almost every year for more than 30 years, ever since I was little. The hospitality is wonderful, the staff are super friendly, and breakfast and dinner are amazing. A fantastic stay all around, and I’d definitely recommend it. Wirklich wunderbar!
