Ramsauerhof

Our quiet room at the back looked out over the mountains and fields, and my wife enjoyed relaxing by the indoor pool while the skiers were out. The ski bus stopping at the hotel made getting to and from the mountain quick and easy. We stayed half board, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. The restaurant team were friendly and helpful, especially George (the Greek Kiwi?). I definitely overdid the bacon buns before skiing, but I was on holiday! The rooms were very clean, and the woman who cleaned ours was lovely. Her daily duvet art was a delight. We did have a hot water issue, but the hotel boss sorted it out quickly in person. This family-run hotel made for a wonderful ski holiday. We were happy with the service, food, room and ski bus location, and we’ll be back.

The ski bus for Mayrhofen and Zillertal arena ski stars stops right outside, beside the heated boot room, which made getting around really convenient. The service staff were so welcoming, and there was a vegetarian choice every night along with plenty of other food options. Our room was clean, had a lovely balcony view, and fresh towels and bedding were available each day if we wanted them. We had a lovely stay here with Crystal and would definitely recommend it.

The guests chatting with one another gave a good sense of how much they were enjoying their stay. I felt the same and would come back without hesitation. In 20 ski holidays, this is the best hotel I’ve stayed in. It has a warm, welcoming feel and sits between Myrhofen and Zell. My large corner room was bright, with countryside views on two sides. After skiing, the pool and sauna were great for unwinding. I could hear cows mooing in the field! The food and service were excellent, and the staff were quick and competent. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

With Crystal Ski, the food gets 8 out of 10. The hotel is basic, but clean and friendly. The ski bus stops right outside, and it’s only 5 minutes to the gondola. If the Crystal price looks cheap and makes you wonder what’s wrong with the hotel, there’s nothing wrong with it. It’s worth every penny.
