Christine was always easy to reach on her mobile and answered all our questions. She welcomed us warmly, explained what we could do around Lake Weissensee and where to find things, and got us adventure passes for free bus and cable car rides plus some local discounts. The room heating came on quickly and kept us warm. Each morning, fresh rolls could be delivered from the bakery, with the amount and types chosen by us, though they weren't included in the hotel price. The view over the lake and valley was stunning, and there was a private beach by the lake. A couple of things needed attention: one canoe was broken, the rowboat leaked a little, and the beach area felt dated. The bicycles weren't roadworthy either, with faulty brakes and flat tires. It was my first mountain holiday, and I had a wonderful time.

The view from our room was gorgeous, and the morning bread roll delivery was so useful. Christine greeted us warmly and shared some great tips. We'd love to return!

We had an excellent stay at Landhaus Vogel in August 2021. The Star apartment was spacious enough for four or five people, clean, and had a large terrace overlooking the lake. It was well equipped for a longer stay, and the beds were very comfortable. The host, Christine, was extremely friendly and helpful with anything to do with Weissensee. The Landhaus also has a lakeside house with a lawn, and canoes, loungers and bicycles are available. The Premium Card gives free use of the sightseeing boats, bus and cable car. There are several restaurants nearby, along with a bakery, Spar and Intersport. Christine was always available to help, and we'll definitely stay at Landhaus Vogel again.

We spent the afternoons soaking up the sun and looking out over Lake Weissensee from our terrace, after going ice skating in the mornings. Landhaus Vogel is a lovely place for a holiday, and Christine is a wonderful host.

We're planning our third visit this year, which probably says it all. Every room has a great view, and there's a trailhead for short hikes just behind the house. Afterward, the sauna downstairs is a nice way to soothe sore muscles. Nothing to complain about!
