We began outside with a little apero and a glass of wine, taking in the great view, then moved inside for a lovely dinner. The food was excellent. I’d definitely recommend this place and would return on my next visit.

There’s a wide range of wines and food, and the rooms are clean, with a stunning view from nearly every angle. The terrace has lovely seating and a friendly feel. Beautiful location and excellent staff. It’s a bit pricey, but worth the experience.

We enjoyed everything we tried, from the mixed salad to the fried chicken and cordon bleu, and there’s a good selection of food. The staff helped us translate the menu, which was only in german, and the sommelier was very kind. Perfect location with amazing views from south styria.

Gamlitz is a beautiful region, with lots of vineyards and restaurants to choose from. I’d take my business elsewhere, though. Weingut Maitz charges high prices and the service is poor, with rude staff who make you feel as if you should be lucky to eat there. Nobody should support that kind of treatment.
