Hotel Sans Souci, Vienna

Breakfast was a real highlight, with a great selection and friendly service each morning. On weekends it runs until 2pm, so there’s no rush if you’re having a long Sunday morning, using the pool and sauna, or heading out for a few hours. We stayed three nights and found the staff warm and attentive throughout. The spacious, bright, modern room had lovely details, quality furnishings, crisp linen, and a very comfortable bed. We were on the front of the hotel, but the window glazing kept out the noise from the nearby tram route and underground station. It’s a well run, well appointed hotel in a great spot for Vienna. We’d happily stay again.

The staff made our early arrival easy. Our room wasn’t ready, so they took our bags, set us up in the library, and brought complimentary coffee while we planned the afternoon. The restaurant team was great too, and breakfast is well worth having, with a European buffet and other menu choices. The hotel is in the Inner Strasse, close to the main tourist sights, so the location worked perfectly for us.

We stayed six days with our family and loved the beautiful master suite, especially its design, furniture, and heated bathroom floors. The sauna was clean and relaxing after a long day, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. The staff were kind and welcoming throughout. They even surprised me with a cake and a photo for my birthday, which was so thoughtful. A great location and warm Austrian-style hospitality made this a wonderful stay.

The food and rooms were faultless, and the location was perfect for exploring Vienna. Everyone was professional, with special thanks to David at the front desk for making our stay even better. We’re looking forward to coming back next year.
