Everything we needed was in the clean apartment, and there’s covered parking too. We stayed for a week, with the lift, bakery, and supermarket all within a ten-minute walk. Highly recommend it.

We spent the summer holidays of 2024 in the Rauris Valley and felt welcome from the start. The owners look after the two-apartment building with real care, and are around regularly if you want to ask them anything. They shared tips for hikes, outings, and places to eat. We also enjoyed those easy chats outside, sitting on the sunny bench and looking at the mountains. The upper-floor apartment was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully furnished, with everything we needed. It stayed pleasantly cool even during hot summer days. Having coffee on the balcony with the mountain view was a lovely way to start the morning. The location worked well for us. Trails up the local mountain begin right behind the house, and the cable car is very close. You can walk to the village for bakeries, restaurants, an ice cream parlor, and a supermarket, while the apartment itself is far enough from the center to feel peaceful. We were very comfortable here and would happily return.

The apartment was clean and comfortable, with two proper bedrooms, each with a large double bed. The kitchen has a sofa bed for two and is fully equipped, even with an oven, which you don’t often find. It’s about five minutes on foot to the slopes and rental shop; the Rauris center and nearest Billa are around ten minutes away. There’s also a gas station with a small shop nearby. The slopes are well suited to beginners and families.

The place felt new, was very clean, and had lovely views from a convenient location. The owners were available, and it seems a good fit for a couple with up to two children. Just be aware that the toilet and shower share one room.
