Greil

We love Landhuis Greil and return every year during krokusvakantie, halfterm, I think. It's super clean, comfortable, spacious, modern, and right in the village centre. Karen Moser goes out of her way to make sure you have a fantastic holiday. There's table football, table tennis, and a ski boot and ski room too. For ski and snowboard rental, plus boots and toboggans, H&N Sport is next door. Hannes and Norbert used to race, and they tune ski boots for professional skiers as well as skis. They tuned my boots and it made an incredible difference. They know a lot about skiing and snowboarding, and also sell the newest skis and boots. The ski school is right next to the shop, with the biggest children's ski and play area in Alpbachtal. You can leave the kids there for the day and take the free ski bus to Alpbach, about 10 minutes away. Landhuis Greil is around 150 metres from the end of the piste and the start of the gondola. The Restaurant Lift-Kaffee Heisn is there too. The food is so good that eating too much is my excuse, the prices are good, and the staff are friendly. People sit there all day watching the skiers. Reith im Alpbachtal is a small village with small prices, but it has everything within walking distance. It's ideal for small children, beginners, or anyone rebuilding their confidence, with a perfect blue run at the bottom of the piste. More advanced skiers or snowboarders can take the bus to Alpbach, a big ski area. The Skijewel ski pass from Reith is also part of the skijewel, so you don't need to buy a separate one. Landhuis Greil is just fantastic. If I get started, I can't stop.

We spent 12 days here on a ski holiday. The place was clean and nicely furnished, with a balcony and a well-equipped ski cellar. From the cellar, you could walk straight out to the local ski school and rental shop. Go up three flights of stairs and you're about 30 metres from the ski bus stop, or roughly 100 metres from the local gondola. The whole family made us feel very welcome. They were warm, friendly, and helpful. Thanks for a lovely time at your place!

We rented a nicely laid-out apartment with everything we needed, and it was furnished with real taste. The living room was on the small side, though it worked fine, and the balcony would be a lovely extra in summer. The owners were welcoming and shared plenty of useful information before and during our stay, answering all our questions. For winter sports, Landhaus Greil is right by the Reitherkogel valley station. The bus stop is only 30 meters away, and the ski bus gets you to the neighboring area in 15 minutes, where you can ski up to 2000 meters. We were a family with 3 children.

The Moser family really made us feel at home. Everyone was warm, friendly, and ready to help, and we’re grateful for such a lovely stay. The accommodation was clean and charming, with a new bathroom we especially liked. Our family also enjoyed the hammock on the balcony, and having a playground in the garden was very convenient.
