Ferienwohnung Kathrein

We had a great week here with four people, and the hostess was very friendly. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the apartment had everything we needed, including a washing machine, oven and microwave. Parking was right outside. The Aktiv card came with discounts for activities, and there was free internet, though it wasn't very fast. The main problem was the noise. The apartment is on a busy road with traffic around the clock, and footsteps on the upper floor carried loudly. There was also renovation work across the street and roadworks right outside, with concrete breaking up for several days from 7:30 AM. It was extremely loud and made the place feel like a construction site, which was a real shame. We hadn't been told about the planned works. We also didn't know there'd be a national holiday when everything, including supermarkets, was closed, so that caught us out. The hostess was pleasant but didn't give us much information. Reutte itself isn't especially interesting, though it works as a base for other places.
