The check-out morning was awkward. One person was still asleep when a cleaner entered at 6:30, thinking the large apartment was empty after most of our group left at 5. She apologized and went out, but it was still annoying. Later, although our friend left before the 9 a.m. check-out, the owner hurried him along because she said the next guests were arriving at 1 and she only had five hours to clean. The bigger concern happened earlier in the week. My partner was alone when the owner knocked and came straight into the apartment before they could answer. He was in his underwear, then quickly left, saying he wanted to switch off the heating. It made us uncomfortable, and we were left wondering if someone had been coming in daily to turn the heating on and off. We’d never had anything like that happen before. We had rented two apartments for a week. Both were clean and good, but those incidents are why I’m leaving this review. I’m torn between two and three stars, and hope the owners learn from this for future guests.
