We spent a week here and had such a good time. What a view! Mountains, fresh air and no traffic, so we slept like babies. The food was local and delicious: fresh croissants, peach jam and juice, local prosciutto, yogurt and cheese. Coffee and water were available 24/7, such a nice way to welcome guests, and you could order eggs for breakfast just how you like them. There was a sauna with a variety of herbal oils to try, plus comfortable reclining chairs. The owner makes his own wine and prosecco. He was really nice, open and helpful, and the staff were great. 10/10, a great experience!

The view from our room was stunning, and one morning we even saw reindeers running up the hill. That was a highlight for my son. We felt right at home in this true gem in the heart of Steiermark. The owner and staff were all so kind and lovely, and breakfast was made with love, with a great choice of bread. We'll definitely be back soon!

We were impressed by the breakfast, which was top quality, and the rooms were a good size and very well equipped. This recently completed, modern family-run hotel is in a lovely, quiet location. It met and even surpassed all our expectations.

The relaxing atmosphere and all the interesting places close by made our visit to Das Meister a wonderful one. There are several fantastic restaurants nearby, too. The hotel was stylish and comfortable, and the owner was extremely helpful and friendly. Already looking forward to coming back!

We had plenty of places to eat nearby, and Riegersburg itself felt like a hidden gem. das meister made a lovely base, with beautiful rooms and fantastic views. The owners were very accommodating, and the owner even drove us to and from the bus stop at no extra charge. I also liked the DIY setup, with everything provided, free coffee and tea, and food and drinks you could take and pay for later. It’s a well-appointed boutique place.
