I've been here three times for ski trips and each stay has been wonderful. It's peaceful, yet close to everything, and the ski in/ski out access is handy, very near the main H1-H2 lift. The rooms are modern and clean, breakfast is great, and the staff are lovely and helpful.

For a ski break, this is a great hotel right on piste 151, reached by a staircase. The town center is a five-minute walk uphill, so keep in mind you'll have to ski up there. The pool and sauna were clean, and breakfast was excellent. Dinner was excellent too, though Monday is the chef's day of rest.

Ski in, ski out, and the pool was warm. We enjoyed it each evening after skiing. What a beautiful hotel, with lovely rooms and an amazing shower. The service was great. Housekeeping and breakfast staff worked hard and greeted us with smiles and a good morning. Well done to everyone, we'll definitely return.

The family who own Hotel Astrid were so kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We stayed four days in June 2025 and had a memorable time. The location is quiet and peaceful, just a two-minute walk to the lift and about five minutes to the village center. Breakfast and dinner were fresh, varied and delicious. I did miss seeing a local steak on the menu, but really enjoyed the other regional dishes. We'd love to return.

The food is what makes this hotel stand out. Our first dinner was so good that we ate there every evening after that. The quality, portions and presentation were all outstanding. Marlies looked after us each night and was fantastic, a real asset. Breakfast in the rooftop restaurant was incredible too. We came as a couple, though the hotel was clearly welcoming to families, and there was a great drying room for gear and bikes. We'd booked at the last minute after bad weather changed our hiking plans, and were so glad to find Hotel Astrid. The room, sauna, pool and relaxation area felt cosy, tasteful and welcoming. We had the sauna and relaxation space to ourselves whenever we used them. Nice extras included the morning ‘coffee and swim club’ and free tea in the relaxation room. Staff were warm, helpful and friendly. The location works well for lifts and local buses, and the hotel includes a summercard pass for them. We can't recommend it enough and will be back.
