Ferienanlage Altachhof

The staff made the trip special, especially the manager. They were professional, friendly and always ready to go further for us, including arranging free taxis to different priests every day and adapting services to our needs. We were on the 5th floor, and although there's no elevator, the staff offered to carry our bags. The mountain view from the room made the stairs worthwhile. The hotel was clean, and the meals were thoughtfully prepared. We enjoyed several traditional Austrian dishes, and the food had plenty of protein, vitamins and other nutrients to keep us going as skiers. There was a hot shower and sauna at the hotel, plus vouchers for a nearby pool and sauna in Zell am see, a beautiful city reachable by free bus. We also found another sauna close to the hotel. It was a fantastic trip, and we'll stay here again for our next ski holiday.

We were part of a big ski group and would definitely recommend staying here. The Altachhof staff were friendly, fun and very helpful, and took good care of us through a week of skiing. Getting around was easy; the taxi to Glacier was worth the money. Our clean room was a good size and had a balcony with a view. Meals were delicious, with a generous selection of salads, soup and appetizers, then a nice-sized main and dessert.

The people working here were the highlight, always friendly, helpful and kind, and they made sure we had a great stay. Hotel Altachhof was lovely for our family of four. Our room was adequate, a little dated but clean, with an excellent shower. It worked well for all four of us, especially since there were shared areas to spend time in. I did miss having a kettle to make tea. The sauna was almost new, large, clean, and wonderful after skiing. The pistes had plenty of variety for different levels, and the taxi service to them was an easy five-minute drive. Thank you!

Danni and the staff were a pleasure to be around, always helpful and friendly. Our family of four, with our 12 and 14 year olds, stayed for a week as part of a larger ski trip. The rooms were spacious and very clean, with plenty of room for us. Food was delicious, with lots of breakfast choices and a changing salad and soup buffet at dinner. They organized easy transport to the ski area, less than a six-minute ride away. There wasn't enough snow for the private run down to the hotel during this stay, though we used it on our previous visit six years ago and appreciated it then. The kids and adults enjoyed the downstairs playroom and ping pong table. We also loved the ski room, where boots could dry and warm overnight and skis could dry out. We had a great time and would gladly come back. It's a good choice for skiing with a family.
