The people were nice, and the place was comfortable and well equipped. It’s very well located for visiting Salzburg, and you can use public transport easily without moving your car.

For €65 plus breakfast, we got a triple room for two adults and two children. The rooms are simple but nice, and very cheap. It’s in a strategic spot for Salzburg, so I’ll go back whenever I need to be there.

The rooms are spacious and perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. The Mackner family are very nice, and breakfast in the morning is solid.

The mattresses must be at least 15 years old. I ended up buying one from IKEA. The stairwell smells of horse manure, too. The power went out one evening, but they fixed it quickly. Overall, it’s okay as a workers’ camp.

Her mother’s apartment in the building can’t be booked either. It costs 30 per person for one night, far too much for what you get. The beds are too soft, the mattresses old and dirty, the bathroom moldy, the towels hard, and everything smells a bit musty. There were also belongings in the dressers that belonged to someone who had rented the apartment.
