Breakfast was a real highlight, with lots of local produce and fresh, high-quality options. We also had dinner at the hotel one evening, and it was delicious with generous portions. There’s a kids’ corner with games and puzzles for about 30 minutes of play. Linda at reception handled a less-than-ideal start really well. Building work began at 8 a.m. on the floor below us, so she quickly found us another room and offered compensation. We appreciated the service. The hotel is close to a road but surprisingly quiet, and both the rooms and beds were very comfortable. We spent three nights here and would happily return.

We rented the hotel bicycles, which was easy since they keep them on site, and followed the cycling route they recommended. The staff were helpful with restaurant reservations, bus information, and suggestions for train tickets for our day trip to Munich. Their website was helpful too. My husband and I stayed here on a recent visit to Salzburg. The room was very clean and well equipped, and the location worked well for both the train station and the old town.

Everyone was so nice and welcoming, from the restaurant and front desk staff to the lovely woman refreshing the rooms. The property was very clean, and our room made clever use of its space. The bed, sheets, and pillow were outstanding and really comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. There’s a hotel building and a villa, with a garden in between for guests to enjoy. It’s just the right distance from the old town. I highly recommend this boutique hotel for a Salzburg visit. Thanks!

The location couldn’t be better, and breakfast had every option you could want. The owner was around and clearly cared about guests being happy. Everything was very clean, and the staff were friendly and courteous.

The staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout our four nights at the Auersperg. We enjoyed the varied, delicious breakfast and the two meals we had at the hotel, including one on the pretty terrace. Our room had a garden view and pleasing decor, and it was comfortable. The garden was a lovely place to relax in the late summer heat. The main sights are an easy, pleasant walk away. Highly recommended.
