City-Center Apartments

We’re still here on our three-night stay, and it’s been fantastic. The room is huge, with lots of storage and a spacious shower. There’s a mini fridge and a/c, and we’re right in the center of the old town. Definitely recommend it.

The building has plenty of charm, and we were surprised by how well soundproofed the rooms were. We couldn't even tell if other people were staying there. The hosts were helpful and kind, and picking up the keys was easy. It felt more like an apartment or Airbnb than a hotel, which suited us perfectly. We stayed in double rooms on the fourth floor. They were enormous, even by American standards, and very well equipped. The bathroom had lots of space, the shower had great pressure and was the best I've come across while traveling, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Having an adjoining door between our room and our two friends' room was very handy. The location was phenomenal, on a romantic pedestrian street lined with shops, about a five-minute walk from every main attraction in Salzburg. Honestly, this was the BEST place I've stayed in Europe. I wish we could have stayed longer, and can't recommend it enough to anyone visiting Salzburg.

The apartment's central location put us close to Salzburg's best shopping, restaurants, and everything else the city has to offer. The place itself was beautiful, with fabulous furnishings. The master bathroom was wonderful, with heated tile floors and a shower powerful enough to launch a space shuttle. There was also an outside terrace that must be lovely in warmer weather. Manfred was gracious and a wonderful landlord. It's a walk-up, but they were happy to help with our luggage. We stayed in late March of 2015 and had a great time. Thanks, Manfred. The rooms were spacious, really nice, and large. It's a lovely place with a great location, close to everything you'd want to walk to in Salzburg. I'd happily stay again and recommend it to anyone coming to the city.
