Appartement Gafluna

Erik, his wife, and son were amazing hosts at this lovely family-run hotel. My wife and I stayed just under a week and loved it. The breakfast was great, the rooms were spacious, and the location was convenient, right by the bus stop. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The rooms were a good size, and the bathroom felt high quality. Breakfast was delicious too, better than what I've had at some four-star hotels. What really made the stay was the family who run the place. They were warm and welcoming, always glad to point us around the village or toward the ski slopes. The mountain bus stop is right at the top of the hill. It's a lovely, well-kept hotel, and I'd recommend it to anyone staying in St Anton who likes getting to know people.

We spent two weeks at Gafluna in January and loved it. Our room was quiet, cozy, and very clean, and the host, Eric, was friendly and accommodating. The bus stop is right at the top of the driveway, so getting a free ride to the hill was easy. Town and the grocery store are both a short walk away. We'd stay at Gafluna again in a heartbeat if we return to Austria.

When we couldn't find a taxi in the morning, the people running this family hotel helped us get to the train station. I can't imagine every corporate hotel doing that. They were also happy to give us tips for the village and ski slopes. The room was a good size, with a top-quality bathroom, and breakfast had just the right choice before a day on the slopes. It's a lovely, well-cared-for place, and I'd recommend it to anyone staying in St Anton.
