The best parts were the Esprit staff’s excellent service during the 2019-2020 season and the location, right beside Nasserein lift and local ski hire shops. The rooms were the big letdown. The decor was bland and bare, with little comfort or Alpine charm, and the family rooms with several beds and sleeping areas felt extremely cramped. Avoid Room 301. Beds, mattresses and pillows were uncomfortable, and rooms at the back by the bins were noisy. There was no games room for kids or communal living room, just sofas in the entrance foyer. Very poor value.

Esprite had taken over the whole hotel for the ski season. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and tidy, and the rooms were generously sized. Being so close to the ski lift made the location ideal.

The team gave great service and served good food. It’s right next to the gondola, which is a great location. The lounge could feel a bit cosier, though, and really needs a fireplace or two.

The food was good, and the service and staff were friendly. The room was good too. It was a bit too hot, the layout was confusing, and there wasn’t a boot room for adults.

I was here with a group in March 2017. The accommodation was great, the food fantastic, and the staff friendly. I’d definitely recommend it.
