Ferienpark Scheiber

I really love this place.

We came for a week in August 2025 with our son, 6, and daughter, 3. I’d read lots about the welcoming family, but the experience felt rather impersonal to me. The keys were left in the mailbox from 3 p.m., and the bill came a few days later. We didn’t need to contact the host, so I didn’t miss anything. The only time we spoke was when we were asked not to jump into the pool from the edge. Apparently a child had slipped there and hurt themselves at some point. The apartment had what we needed, and Lake Klopein’s shores and restaurants are easy to reach by bike. The complex has an unsupervised pool with a good fence around it, plus large lawns for playing. There’s also children’s play equipment, ping-pong tables, a big Connect-4 game, several barbecues, and a herb garden where you can pick herbs. Everything was very well organized, and I’d definitely recommend it. The location works especially well if you bring or rent bikes. You’re close to the lively area around Lake Klopein without being right in the middle of it.

We’re leaving tomorrow after a lovely 10-day stay, but we’ve already booked for the summer break because we enjoyed the park so much. Many thanks to the Jesse family. The whole complex is very well kept, and the owner and staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and easy to reach. Our apartment was spotless and lovingly furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, comfortable beds, and a big, lovely balcony. The heated pool was clean too, and there were ping-pong tables, barbecues, and a little playground with a sandbox. There were lots of board games to borrow in the entrance hall of House 2, along with plenty of information about local activities. Cleaning supplies and a vacuum cleaner were available as well, all in excellent condition.

We felt completely comfortable here and didn’t miss a thing. The apartment was spotless and well maintained, with the basics covered from a microwave and kettle to a stove. There’s also a pool on site for enjoying the nice weather. The Scheiber family took care of our small requests quickly. Thanks for a lovely stay, highly recommended.
